Below, you’ll find important setup and technical requests that will ensure everything runs smoothly and performs at the highest level.

To ensure seamless production quality and a smooth experience, the following setup standards are requested.

Performance Space

• Minimum 8' × 10' performance area

• Level, stable surface capable of safely supporting professional audio equipment

• DJ setup positioned directly adjacent to the dance floor whenever possible

• No guest tables between the DJ and dance floor whenever possible

Electrical Requirements (Ceremony & Reception)

To ensure reliable operation of professional audio and lighting equipment, CALI Entertainment requests:

• One dedicated 120V / 20-amp electrical circuit whenever available

• Electrical outlets located within approximately 25 feet of the performance area.

Ceremony (Wedding Ceremony Only) Table

If you have hired us to provide sound for your wedding ceremony (the actual ceremony where your vows take place), please provide—or have your venue or décor company provide—one 4' or 6' folding table located within the ceremony area.

Outdoor Events (VERY IMPORTANT)

For outdoor events, the performance area must be completely protected from direct sunlight, rain, excessive moisture, and other environmental conditions that could affect professional electronic equipment.

Whenever natural shade is unavailable, a tent, canopy, pavilion, or other suitable overhead covering must be provided for the DJ performance area. This protection should remain in place for the duration of setup, the event itself, and equipment breakdown.

If adequate weather protection is unavailable, please understand that setup may need to be delayed or relocated until the performance area can be safely used.

Load-In / Load-Out Access

Convenient load-in and load-out access to and from the performance area is greatly appreciated. Easy access allows equipment to be unloaded, installed, and removed quickly and efficiently, helping ensure everything is fully set up, tested, and ready well before your guests arrive, while also allowing for a smooth and timely breakdown at the conclusion of your event.

Vendor Hospitality

For events exceeding approximately five hours, a vendor meal is greatly appreciated and allows uninterrupted service throughout the event. Bottled water nearby is also appreciated during longer performances.

Ceremony Microphone Policy

To ensure the highest possible audio quality during your ceremony, CALI Entertainment provides a professional wireless microphone system specifically selected for wedding ceremonies. CALI Entertainment exclusively utilizes a professional Countryman earset microphone paired with a Sennheiser digital wireless system. The best of the best.
